About us
Carters Corner Furniture is an independent furniture business established in 2016. We specialise in carefully sourced and hand restored vintage and pre-owned furniture.
These terms apply to purchases made through our website.
Furniture descriptions
Every piece of furniture is individually selected and carefully restored by hand before being prepared for its new home.
We take great care to provide accurate descriptions and detailed photography for every piece. As each item is individually restored, no two pieces are exactly the same.
Bespoke furniture
Every piece is prepared specifically for the customer following their order.
Customers can select from our available finishes and colours where offered. We carefully prepare and finish each piece to the requirements agreed at the time of purchase.
Once a bespoke finish or other customer-specific alteration has been confirmed and work has commenced, changes or cancellations may not be possible where permitted by UK consumer law.
Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the item shown in the listing.
An order is confirmed once payment has been received and we have accepted the order.
We reserve the right to cancel an order where an item has been incorrectly listed, is no longer available or where there has been an obvious pricing or description error. If we cancel an order, any payment already made will be refunded in full.
Pricing and payment
All prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling (£).
Payment must be made in full before an order is processed unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed with us in writing.
Delivery
We offer delivery throughout Great Britain including England, Scotland and Wales.
Delivery costs and arrangements will be shown at the time of purchase or agreed with you before your order is completed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that suitable access is available to the delivery address. Please inform us before ordering if there are any access restrictions such as narrow entrances, restricted roads, stairs or other circumstances that may affect delivery.
Returns and refunds
Our returns and refund arrangements are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
As every piece is prepared specifically for the customer, certain bespoke or customised orders may not be eligible for cancellation due to change of mind where permitted by UK consumer law.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Furniture care
Our furniture is professionally restored and finished for normal domestic use.
We recommend following any care instructions provided with your furniture and using suitable products when cleaning or maintaining restored surfaces.
Photography and intellectual property
All photography, written content, branding and other original material displayed on this website belongs to Carters Corner Furniture unless otherwise stated.
Our images and content may not be copied, reproduced, edited or used commercially without our prior written permission.

We take care to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, occasional errors may occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information and amend product availability or pricing where necessary
